One-Hour Entertainment Special Featuring Live Performances Will Announce Nominations for “THE 52nd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS” And Will Take Place At Club NOKIA in Los Angeles

THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS CONCERT LIVE! – COUNTDOWN TO MUSIC’S BIGGEST NIGHT will be broadcast live from Club NOKIA in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Dec. 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will once again set the stage for the annual GRAMMY Awards telecast and will announce nominations in several categories as well as feature performances by past GRAMMY winners and/or nominees. Presenters, performers and additional information will be announced shortly.

The recording industry’s most prestigious award, the GRAMMY, is presented annually by The Recording Academy. A GRAMMY is awarded by The Recording Academy’s voting membership to honor excellence in the recording arts and sciences. It is truly a peer honor, awarded by and to artists and technical professionals for artistic or technical achievement, not sales or chart positions (GRAMMY Awards Process). The annual GRAMMY Awards presentation brings together thousands of creative and technical professionals in the recording industry from all over the world.
