Copy the URL address of the video page, such as http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xbuhkz_how-to-survive-while-lost-on-a-myst_school, and paste the address in the URL bar of Video Download Capture, then click “Add to Download” to go.
Take YouTube as an example, you can proceed video downloading in batch mode simultaneously. High Quality (HQ) and High Definition (HD) videos can be downloaded on your local discs.
When the video URL you enter is not listed in the current database as “Unknown” displayed, a “Video Recorder” option will be prompted after clicking “Add to Download” button. It says, “It doesn’t support URL, please enable video recorder? (You can turn on or off Video Recorder manually later)“.
After launching the built-in video recorder, the Recorder indicator will begin detecting automatically and then URL address not listed in database will be opened in your default Web browser; since then, any videos playing in the Web browsers will be automatically detected by the Recorder and added into the downloading queue of Video Download Capture, until you turn off the Recorder.
Go to General options, and you can set up some options for video download and convert. The new version added several new optional components. Make settings according to your own actual need.
With this mighty built-in media player, play the video while conducting a video download in progress or play after downloading. Your choices. More shortcut keys are available for you.
Select downloaded videos, and click Add to Convert, and switch to Convert tab to convert videos to any formats with different Profile.
Click Settings to change the specific settings for the video output in conversion.
Click Trim button to shorten the video length by setting new start and end time; click Crop button to adjust the aspect of video size.
When every setting is done, click Start button to convert downloaded online videos quickly.
Version 3.0.0 developed with built-in screen recording software, so any video which can’t be downloading by URL or recorded in streaming can be captured with screen recorder, just like use camcorder shooting videos.
Just click “Record Screen” to launch Screen Recorder:
In order to record better quality videos, you’d better preset options like set hotkeys to “Start”, “Stop” instead of clicking on program panel.
You can custom frame rates from 1 to 120 frames per second, and bitrate in output format.
As long as you convert videos to the right format for your Apple devices, you will be able to transfer videos to iTunes with this program. Then sync videos to your digital devices.

This will probably get censored, but here goes. This program sucks. junk quality encodes, keeps same low bitrate on video and audio no matter what template you choose. Downloader is crap. Worked fine on VEVO, now it doesn’t. Promised update still has same problem. I WANT A REFUND. I have asked many times and no refund yet. If they fix VEVO, I would be happy.

When you receive a message like “This video is not available in your country,” it means that the website has detected, usually via your IP address, that you are not in a country their site supports. The “Why” part is this; There are legal, usually copyright, reasons that the video cannot be shown outside a particular zone. I am an American living full-time in Mexico. While I can watch most of the major channels available in the U.S. on my legal satellite receiver, I cannot go to most of those same channel websites and view programming. For Solutions to this problem do a web-search for “Hide IP.” The solution is not free, but not terribly expensive.

I was very excited to find your software since I found the VEVO site, but. . . I don’t know. . .I have been messing with it for over 2-1/2 hours now-I’m pretty good with computers and software—and I already have the YOUTube HD downloader…..I was happy with it, but for some reason it stopped working—which is what led me to look for something new; ANYWAY, about YOUR software. . .I got the videos to download. . . but. . um I just can’t get them to convert properly…I tried several different formats I know works with Media Play, but the download/conversion software is saving it in an incorrect format

XTube has added an authentication request to prevent downloading their videos.
So it returns “The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.”

hi, I’m trying to download a video from tudou.com, but after i have keyed in the url (http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/DuJXlpiuVvg/), and clicked the tab “add to download”, the software prompted me to turn the video recorder on,i turned it on, and the URL address was opened in my internet browser. But, it was not added into the downloading queue of Video Download Capture, and therefore not being downloaded. How do i get the software to download the video??? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I followed your instructions for downloading video from Adobe and Lynda.com. I was able to download the intro videos that have nothing to do with Photoshop but I was never able to download the main event video that I needed. I started the video, opened your program, copies the URL and pasted it on your program. It said that the site was unknown. Clicked on download. Got the message that the record button needs to be turned on. I pressed okay and the record button turned on. Then it will download the advertisement just fine. When the real video comes on, nothing happens. It does not recognize the video at all. I tried several times with Adobe TV, Lynda.com, and a Terry White video. Nothing. What could be wrong? There isn’t anything in your help files to assist in this.

When I launch it tells me there’s an upgrade available. When I click ok, it crashes and gives a send don’t send message.
I am also noticing that the current version 2.6.5 takes a huge amount of memory, pretty much everything that’s available until the system comes to a crawl. I’m hoping that the new version fixes that issue, however, I can’t seem to upgrade to it.

“The file is incorrect and could not be loaded!”
Why? IT worked ok before with some other youtube clips? If I add the downloaded clips (that dont work) into AVS video converter I can convert them. Why cant i do it with Your app?

I’m getting this error message plus more to it. Was going to try to copy and paste but it wouldn’t let me. The large “Video capture” logo appears on my desktop but just stays there. The only way to get it back off is to restart my computer. Why is this hanging up and giving me the error message?

Are you putting the key code to this program, if you are using trial version, you can only convert 30% of the video.
Or you can choose other video format as output profile to have a try.

I am using vista home premium and I downloaded the latest download capture pro ver.3.1.1.0 and the converter still doesn’t work. It opens up the folder and says It’s empty but won’t go any further. I uninstalled it and went back to ver. 3.1.0.0. because the audio sounded distorted. Why can’t this issue be resolved? I’m getting dissapointed with your product.

I just downloaded your Video Download Software and paid for the Standard version. Registration is complete and I restarted the computer.
When I try to download a video from Vimeo, it lists the size as 1.47KiB
As an alternative, I’ve tried the streaming video capture but it was choppy. I allowed the computer to download the entire file before playing it and it is still choppy. I’ve closed all programs that use disk access and a few non-essential scanner and printer monitors. My PC runs Vista SP2 on a Dual Core with 4GB RAM. Is there something else I can do?
I bought this because CNET recommended it. So far, I’m disappointed.

First let me congratulate you. It appears you have vastly improved your software since I last tried it.
That said, I am nevertheless having problems with it. Not too surprising, since I’ve tried several “screen capture” programs without much success.
Maybe the problem stems from my NOT wanting to record Videos like Youtube, etc. What I do need to record is ANIMATED SCREENSAVERS that I’ve created using software purchased from Synthesoft.com. (I need to record both the Video Screen and the Music.)
So far, I have been able to record ONLY the Desktop and the image of the program itself… but not any of the animated images it puts on the screen, AND not any Sound.
In fact, the Sound doesn’t work at all. Probably because I got a pop-up asking if I wanted to install some download to make the Sound operate. I refused. The last time I did something like that, it completely DISABLED my PC’s sound system altogether.
If you have any suggestions or need more information, please let me know. I’m more than willing to pay the $40 if I can get this working.
And BTW, how much time are we allowed for the trial?

But We did not test to use it record screen saver, our tech will test it today.
And for audio problem, I guess you missed somthing related to virtual sound card.
You’d better uninstall the program and re-install it.
I also forward this comment to our technical engineer.
They will figure out a solution.

I recently checked with Downloadplex.com, whom YOU say gave you a “5 Star Rating” for this software.
So I went to their site and couldn’t even find your software listed, except for some Audio program of yours (which received a very poor rating.)
Finally I wrote to Downloadplex.com,inquiring about your Streaming Video Recorder and that “5 Star” rating you claimed — and this was their reply:

My apologies. Apparently there was some confusion regarding the name. But as you say, one CAN find your program, Video Download capture, on the Downloadplex site, and it does have a 5-star rating –despite what their “Support” guy had to say about it.

I have *tried* recording it in full screen, but all I get is what I described to you.
When you say “it works OK,” you are describing YOUR screen saver. I think the one I’m using is quite different. You can download a copy free from http://www.synthesoft.com – they have 4 free programs there, and the one I use is called The Kinemorphic Screen saver.
Regarding the sound — if we can get the Graphics to capture properly, at that point I will make the sound card correction. No point in doing it at this stage.
Again, my apologies. It seems there are hundreds of software pgms on that site, and finding yours seemed difficult to impossible. I think I’d have had better luck if your name, Apowersoft, had been attached to it. As it is, the company name seems to be missing.
